Hampshire’s OktoberFest is a fantastic family festival held in Basingstoke from 12th-14th October, attracting over 8000 visitors annually. Originating from Munich in Germany the festival is a celebration of fine food, fine beer and fine times. A huge variety of real ale from across the region will be available, with nearly 220 different beers, craft ales and ciders, and new for this year - two gin bars offering some of the finest tipples and tonics to whet your appetite. Quite simply - this is an event not to be missed!
This celebration – the largest of its kind in the South East – is organised by The Wessex Heritage Trust, in collaboration with Upham Brewery and supported by The Breeze FM. The event aims to provide people in Hampshire with a fantastic weekend of activity, with great entertainment, mouthwatering food, a huge selection of drinks, and a programme appropriate for adults and children alike. Hampshire’s OktoberFest is easily accessible from across the region, with on-site parking and a nearby train station serving major locations including Southampton, Winchester, Portsmouth, Salisbury and even London.
K is the new C!
To commemorate our 10th anniversary and honour the event’s Germanic roots, we’ve dropped the “C” in favour of the more traditional “K”; introducing Hampshire’s Oktoberfest; the original, and still the best! This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever , so stay tuned for more information and keep an eye on the website for updates.
